Software update for the Logitech G5 Gaming mouse is out

For those of you that own a Logitech G5 gaming mouse.

Logitech has update the Set Point software to version 2.6. The update weighs in at a whopping 47.6 MB! If you haven't already done so, make sure to get the BIOS update also.

Set Point software update can be found here.

BOIS Update can be found here.

For those of you who don't own a Logitech G5 gaming mouse.

It is best described here.

If you do a little searching you can find this mouse for around $50. If you are gamer, this is the mouse for you. If you are surfing the web on your 50 inch plasma, this is the mouse for you! Or if you are using a multiple monitor setup, this mouse is for you. Because the mouse can travel at a Max. Speed of 45—65 inches per second (depending on your mouse pad) using the 2000 dpi setting. It also processes 6.4 mega pixels a second! If you are frustrated with the mouse you currently have, this mouse is for you.
Why does it come with a weight cartridge? Do you lift your mouse off the mouse pad with out thinking about it and then wonder why the mouse did not move where you wanted it to move? When your gaming on your PC do you rock your mouse back and forth not thinking about it? These are a few things that the weight package cures. Any time the mouse moves off and on the mouse pad the mouse has to figure out if it was moved or not. Wasting valuable time and getting you fragged in the meantime.
If you are looking for a new mouse this mouse is worth every penny! You will find a ideal dpi setting and weight fairly quickly. Whether you are a "little gamer" or just surfing the web, once you find the idea dpi setting and weight this mouse will feel like your hand is moving around the screen and not the cursor. Every move will be precise and effortless.
