How much music could you store on a 1.6 terabyte disk?

By 2009, you will be able to find out! InPhase Technologies is working on a new way of writing data to a storage device. They have come up with a way to write data into pages that form books of data. By doing this they can put 200 gigs of data into one square inch of space! InPhase is conducting the first public demonstration of a holographic prototype at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas, April 18 through April 21.* InPhase plans to start selling a 300 gig disk in 2006 and 1.6 terabyte disk by 2009.
